Satisfied with the hotel, it's a perfect place for staying in Monterey. The breakfast is free, and the location is fantastic adjacent to town centre and piers. Thank you for a very nice stay.
Their breakfast is rather limited, can be much better.

Fireplace in King room. Stuff was *very* friendly. 10 minutes by foot to city center. Wi-Fi worked fast. So it's way better than anything else within the same price.

Unbeatable location with free parking. At 10 km distance from the airport. Free breakfast with a wide array of toast, cereals, yoghourt and boiled eggs to satisfy every guest.
Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

Room was clean, spacious and overlooked a deck! Within walking distance to old downtown Monterey. Good continental breakfast.
Nothing!

The staff was extremely nice, helpful and the location is great.
Apparently some of the rooms are remodeled (did not see those). The room we were in (#304) was clean but beyond that it was definitely shabby. Had weird, old kitchenette with a non working refrig. Another working frig was placed next to funky fireplace. Clean and passable for one night but no more. Definitely needs remodeling.

My son and I stayed here for one night in February. The woman at the front desk on arrival was welcoming and informative when we arrived after dark. The room was comfortable and more than adequate. The beds were particularly comfortable. The Inn is close to shops and restaurants a few streets away. There is the chance to borrow DVDs free of charge which is rather unusual and welcome. Complimentary breakfast is available in the foyer, although it is somewhat limited. I am more than happy to recommend this motel to those staying in Monterey.

comfortable stay but needs some minor improvements
The room was spacious, allowing my family to relax without feeling cramped. Victoria at the front desk.
The breakfast area could be a bit more organized during peak hours.
